Biography
West German twins Ferdinand and Antonia Becherer finished ninth in the ice dancing event at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. From 1984-88 both also participated in the Figure Skating World Championships with a seventh place as their best result in 1987. From 1983-88 they also competed at the Europeans with a fifth place in 1986 as their best placing. From 1986-88 the siblings won the national championship, having been runner up in the three years 1983-85.
