Biography

Roland Braun from Baiersbronn finished tenth with the team in the Nordic combined at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Games, and individually finished 35th. In 1996, he won his only national title in the team event. Braun later worked as a ski jumping and Nordic combined coach. He also taught inline skating and cross-country skiing. His brother Friedrich, who was Youth World team jumping champion in 1986, died at only 45 years-of-age.
