Biography

A native of Chamonix, Henri Couttet skated at both the 1920 and 1924 Winter Olympics. He played for Chamonix HC and helped them win league titles in 1923-26, the first four of seven consecutive championships for the club. Henri was the older brother of Marcel Couttet, who played ice hockey at the 1936 Winter Olympics, and a younger brother of Denis Couttet, who competed in Nordic skiing at the 1924 Chamonix Winter Games.
