Biography

David Currier skied for Dartmouth and the Eastern Slope Ski Club. He had a short career with the US National Team racing for them only in 1971-72. He posted one top 10 downhill finish in World Cup races that year and placed 52nd in the 1971-72 overall World Cup. Currier later worked in the ski industry. In 1976 he was made general manager of Carerra Sports, but he briefly raced on the professional ski tour in the later 70s. Currier later became vice-president of sales and marketing for Volant, a Colorado ski manufacturing company. He has more recently (2007) worked for Skiing Magazine as vice-president of sales and test director.
