Biography

Canadian-born Marty Dallman was an ice hockey centre playing at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics representing Austria. The team was eliminated in the group stage and finally placed 12th and last, after losing the match for 11th place to Norway 3-1.

Dallman was drafted in the NHL by Los Angeles Kings in 1981. He scored 1,164 (577+587) career points in 935 games and retired in 1999. Domestically, he played in Austria with EHC Olten, Wiener EV, EC Graz, HC Fribourg-Gottéron (Switzerland), CE Wien, and with Nottingham Panthers in England. He won 13 Austrian international caps and scored 9 (4+5) points.

Dallman later became a hockey coach immediately after his retirement as a player and founded his own hockey school after returning to his homeland.
