Biography

Dan Dilworth grew up in International Falls, and played several years of minor league hockey. He skated for the US at the 1961 World Championships and 1964 Winter Olympics. He also spent some time in 1960-61 with the Fort Frances Canadiens of the Central Hockey League. In 1961-62 he was with the Weyburn Red Wings, while in 1962-63 he played for the St. Paul Saints of the International Hockey League and the Waterloo Black Hawks of the US Hockey League. In 1968-69, Dilworth played a few games with the Grand Rapids Bruins of the International Hockey League. He also coached hockey for many years at Itasca Community College.
