Biography

Icelandic Alpine skier Ásgeir Eyjólfsson represented Glímufélagið Ármann in Reykjavík where he started skiing at the age of 13. At the 1952 Oslo Olympics Eyjólfsson finished in 27th place in the slalom event. He also competed in the downhill and the giant slalom, finishing 52nd and 63rd, respectively.
