Biography

Giuliano Giardini was an early-1980s Italian skier. His only major tournament was the Lake Placid Winter Games where he participated only in downhill, and achieved a satisfying 15th place. He was just 20-years-of-age at the time. Giardini made his World Cup début two years earlier in the Schladming downhill (Austria) at the age of 18. His best results were in 1981 when he finished 27th in the downhill and 65th in the overall competition.
