Biography

Nordic combined athlete Gerhard Glaß from Klingenthal participated in the 1954 World Championships in Falun and finished 23rd. The following year he won his only East German championship, which qualified him for the 1956 Olympic Winter Games, where he finished 24th at Cortina d’Ampezzo.
