Biography

Lloyd Guenther competed in major speed skating competitions in the US from 1927-32, winning the 1928 Adirondack Gold Cup. He was tied for second at the 1928 US Indoors All-around, and placed second at an international meet in Pittsburgh in 1927. Guenther was inducted into the Michigan Amateur Sports Hall of Fame in 1975.

Personal Bests: 500 – 45.3 (1932); 1500 – 2:35.9 (1932); 5000 – 9:15.6 (1932); 10000 – 20:04.3 (1932).
