Biography

Lieutenant C. William Johnson was serving in the US Army in 1948 and was recruited to ride the Cresta Run at the 1948 Olympics as one of the best athletes in the Army. For his Olympic participation, he was awarded the Cresta Colours at the end of the 1948 season. Johnson was from Minneapolis.
