Biography

The 1950 German slalom champion and 1952 downhill and the alpine combination champion, Willi Klein participated as an alpine skier in the 1952 Oslo Winter Olympics. He finished 16th in both slalom and downhill, and 32nd in the giant slalom. By profession, Klein was a heating constructor with an own company. He died in 1997 whilst playing golf on holiday in Las Palmas.
