Biography

Wim Kos fell during his race over the 1500 m at the 1928 Winter Olympics, thus finishing last in this event. He only took part in one World Championship, in 1928 in Davos shortly before the Olympics placing 17th. He did slightly better at European Championships, when he finished 8th in 1925, 19th in 1928, and 11th in 1929. He never won a national championship but was successful at a number of regional events.

Personal Bests: 500 – 46.3 (1929); 1500 – 2:33.0 (1928); 5000 – 9:18.4 (1928); 10000 – 18:57.0 (1928).
