Biography

Rocky Juárez was a boxer who was the US amateur featherweight champion from 1998-2000 and then fought at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. As an amateur he had a 145-17 record with a 68-fight winning streak.

Juárez turned professional in January 2001 and débuted with a unanimous decision over Pascali Adorno. He won his first 23 bouts through March 2005 but then lost a fight against Humberto Soto for the WBC interim world featherweight crown. He continued to fight through January 2015, winning some lesser titles, but lost seven of his nine fights and then retired after a loss to Robinson Castellanos. His professional record was 30 wins (21 by KO), with 11 losses, and one draw.
