Biography

Louis Nixdorff graduated from Johns Hopkins University in business administration. He subsequently worked in the real estate business, eventually becoming president of a real estate company. Spending his whole life in Baltimore, Nixdorff was a member Baltimore City Real Estate Brokers Round Table and the Maryland Historical Society. While at Johns Hopkins, he was part of the team that was selected to represent the United Stated in the Lacrosse demonstration at the 1928 Olympics. Nixdorff was later inducted into the United States Lacrosse Hall of Fame, and left his collection documenting his participation in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, to the national archives. He was also a keen golfer.
