Biography

Ifeanyi Chiejene was a striker who played for Nigeria at the 2000 and 2008 Olympics. Chiejene was the youngest player to ever compete in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 1999, when she was only 16-years-old. She later captained the Nigerian U19 team at the 2002 FIFA Women’s U19 World Cup. She also competed at the 2003 and 2007 World Cup. Chiejene earned 61 caps for Nigeria. In club football she played for FC Indiana in the USA, KMF Kuopio and PK-35 Vantaa in Finland, Zvezda Perm in Russia, and SSVSM-Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan.
