Biography
Désiré Acket married the painter Nelly Degouy, who also participated in the 1932 art competitions. They both worked as artists, wood carvers and draftsmen. Acket became known for his small graphics, bookplates, work calendars and book illustrations. He studied and lived in his hometown of Antwerp.
