Imre László represented BEAC as a middle-distance and cross-country runner. Occasionally, he also competed in sprint events on a regional level. In 1912, he won silver at the national championships in the 880 yd run and was subsequently entered for the middle-distance events at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, but he did not start. Lászlo achieved his greatest successes as a cross-country runner. Individually, he won bronze and silver at the Hungarian Championships in 1912 and 1913, respectively. With the BEAC he won three consecutive titles in the team event (1911-13).
