Biography

John Myrdal sailed in the Laser class at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He was a 12-time US Champion in Laser. Myrdal sailed at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa where he was a three-time collegiate All-American. Myrdal competed seven times at international events for the USA Sailing Team. In 1996 he was named the Hawaiian Male Athlete of the Year.

Myrdal later worked in real estate, investments, and insurance. He held licenses as a uniform securities agent, as a general securities registered representative, as a uniform investment advisor, and in real estate sales.
