Austrian sports shooter Monika Haselsberger participated at the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Olympics. She narrowly missed the finals on both occasions in the 10 metres air rifle event and placed ninth. Haselsberger won three medals at European Championships with silver in 2000 and bronze in 2000 and 2004. She married Thomas Einwaller, an international football (soccer) referee, who officiated at the 2008 Olympics.
