Biography

German volleyball player Judith Flemig was on the squad that finished sixth in the Olympic tournament at Sydney in 2000. She was a German international from 1997-2001. By profession, she became a lawyer and was also a coach and vice-president of the West German Volleyball Federation. Her sister, non-Olympian Ruth Kolokotronis, was also a volleyball player.

At club level, Flemig played with TC Kreuzau (1989-95), USC Münster (1996-2002), TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen (2002-05), and SG Marmagen-Nettersheim (2007-16). She helped Münster win the German national title in 1997, and the German Cup in 1997 and 2000. She was named Volleyball Player of the Year in Germany in 1999.
