Biography

Kaj Sylvan was a Danish sprint canoeist who represented Lyngby Kanoklub. Sylvan and Gerner Christiansen competed in the C-2 1,000 metres event at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. The pair reached the final, but were disqualified for crossing into another lane. Sylvan was 96-years-old when he died in January 2020.
