Biography

Horst Meindl was a defenseman for the West German ice hockey team that finished seventh at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics. He earned 44 international caps and scored four goals. Domestically Meindl played with EV Füssen (1965-78) and helped them win West German championships in 1968-69, 1971, and 1973. In 1978 he moved for one season to EV Landshut and then to EA Kempten to play in a lower division club.
