Biography

Nordic combined skier Horst Möhwald finished 17th at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Games. He had won the pre-Olympic qualification race, but in Innsbruck the German technical support team used the wrong waxes for their competitors, and failed to achieve better results. From 1974-92 Möhwald was president of his home club SC Bad Wiessee.
