Biography

Todd Okerlund played for Burnsville High School in Minnesota and then at the University of Minnesota. He competed for the US at the 1984 World Junior Championships, and after college, joined the US Olympic team for the 1987-88 season. Okerlund played in four NHL games with the New York Islanders in the 1987-88 season, also playing a little that year with the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League, but that was the end of his pro career. Okerlund is the son of pro wrestling Hall of Famer Mean Gene Okerlund.
