Biography

Gary Ross was the younger brother of Don Ross, who played for the US in hockey at the 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics. Gary played for the University of North Dakota as a freshman, but switched to Bemidji State College, graduating in 1977. He also played for the US at the 1978 World Championships as a defenseman.
