Biography

German Nordic combined skier Falke Schwaar finished 42nd in the individual event at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. At the 1990 Nordic Youth World Championships he won a silver and bronze medal. He was also runner-up in the individual events at the German nationals in 1993 and 1994.

Schwaar retired after the 1995 season and was employed by the German postal service, working at Bautzen. He was also engaged as a regional coach in the Saxony Skiing Association and the Regional Sports Federation of Bautzen.
