Biography

Silvio Szybisti was an Austrian ice hockey defence and member of the Olympic national team at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. The team was eliminated in the group stage and finished ninth. He won 27 international caps scoring four points (one goal and three assists).

Domestically, Szybisti played with Villacher SV, Wiener EV, EHC Lustenau, Klagenfurter AC, Kapfenberger SV, and Grazer EC. In 1981, he won the Austrian national title with Villach. Szybisti later lived in Graz working as a facility manager.
