Biography

Guy-Pierre Volpert played ice hockey for France at the 1936 Winter Olympics. He skated at both forward and defense positions. Volpert also competed at the 1935 and 1950 World Championships. His career lasted from 1934-52, although there is no record of him playing competitively from 1936-49. Volpert started with Français Volants Paris but also played for Paris City and, after World War II, with Racing Club de Paris and Paris ASP Police.
