Biography

Ross Zucco was a specialist in long-distance skating, competing only in the 10K at the 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics, and setting a US record in the event. He had a short career, as only a few months after the 1960 Winter Olympics, he was killed in an automobile accident by a 16-year-old drunk drag racer. Zucco had worked as a plumber.
