Biography

Austrian Alpine skier Christiane Mitterwallner participated in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. She competed in the giant slalom and finished a disappointing 20th place. The same year she won her only World Cup race, a super G. It was her only international result of any significance.

During her sports career, Mitterwallner completed an apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist before later studying communication and sports science. After some time, she switched to studying psychology and moved to Innsbruck. Shortly before graduating, she moved to Vienna to gain initial experience as a business psychologist and to complete her diploma thesis. Since 2009, she worked independently as a management coach and sports psychologist, advising top athletes and business executives.
