Biography

Ron Chiodi was a snowboarder who competed at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Chiodi won the 1997 American Snowboard Tour North American Championships, and then won a final Olympic qualifier at Sugarloaf in Maine, the Bud Light US Snowboard Grand Prix.

Chiodi became a well-respected snowboarding coach. In 2007, he founded and directed the American Snowboard Training Center (ASTC), located at the base of Carinthia at Mount Snow, Vermont. The ASTC is a winter term snowboard Academy providing professional coaching services, education, and housing.
