Biography
German whitewater canoeist Jens Vorsatz finished a disappointing 29th in the kayak singles at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics, when canoe slalom became a permanent fixture in the Olympic program after its first appearance in 1972. Vorsatz studied mathematics and computer science, and first worked as a consultant in the IT business. He later became director of test management at well-known sports goods company adidas.
