Nordic Combined at the 1964 Winter Olympics

Dates 2 – 3 February 1964
Medal Events 1

Both sections of the individual Nordic combined event took place in Seefeld, a small village 17 km northwest of Innsbruck, which has become an important European center for cross-country skiing. All competitors had three jumps, with the best two scores of each to count. The next day, 3 February, the skiers raced 15 km at the Seefeld complex, with the race starting and finishing in the Langlaufzentrum, a stadium built for the 1964 Winter Olympics. At the 1962 FIS Congress a new points table for Nordic Combined was approved, making it possible to receive more than the previous 240 point maximum in both ski jumping and cross-country.
