Jim Thorpe USA ATH/BBL Olympics / Non-Medal 1912 1912 Athletics - decathlon/pentathlon gold medalist - technically Thorpe did play exhibition baseball games at the 1912 Olympics. He played in MLB from 1913-19, mostly with the New York Giants, but also had one season each with the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Braves.
