While the Gotlanders were displaying their traditional sports, at the other end of the stadium an exhibition of Glíma wrestling was given (7 July, at 1930 [7:30 PM]). Although Glíma was exhibited in the evening of 7 July, the Glíma wrestlers held a more formal competition on Monday, 15 July, at 3:00 PM (1500), when they competed for the Glíma Cup, donated by Icelanders in Denmark.
