There were 16 different automobile contests at the 1900 Paris Exposition. This was an unusual event for electrically-driven delivery cars, with three cars entered. The winner was Kriéger. It was not known which Kriéger driver participated although the winning name referred to Kriéger Company of Electric Vehicles (Société des Voitures Electriques Systeme Kriéger), which was started in 1894 by Louis Antoine Kriéger.
