Kites (small), Open

There were 26 ballooning events at the 1900 Paris Exposition, which were more properly termed exhibitions. They were mixed, with both men and women participating. The events all took place starting at the Aérostation, at the Parc de Vincennes, in Paris.

Of the 26 “ballooning” events, three were for kites. The small kite event was won by Fléchieux, with de la Dunard placing second. De la Dunard also placed third in the medium kite event. Fléchieux received a silver-bronze medal valued at 20 francs for winning this event.
