Biography

Lori Mountford competed in curling for the United States at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, and was also on the US team that competed in the demonstration curling event at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Mountford won silver medals at the World Championships in 1992 and 1996. Mountford was selected as the US Curling Association athlete-of-the-year in 1991. She worked for over 35 years as a payroll and benefits coordinator at Madison (Wisconsin) newspapers. In 2016 Mountford was inducted into the US Curling Association Hall of Fame.
