Ennio Aroldi was an Italian boxer who made his début with the national team in Dublin in the Italy-Ireland match. He then fought in Budapest against Hungary, in Lausanne against Switzerland, and in London against England. He was considered a certainty for the 1948 London Olympics, but he turned professional. Aroldi fought mostly in Italy, defeating former Italian champion Otello Belardinelli, but he lost a match against Nazzareno Giannelli for the Italian title. Aroldi fought professionally from 1950-52, but had only 8 bouts, and retired with a record of 2 wins, 4 losses, a draw, and one no contest.
