Biography

Antonio Rucco was an Italian sprint canoer who represented C. N. Brindisi. At the 1960 Roma Olympics Rucco and Lorenzo Cantarello finished in ninth place in the K-2 1,000 metres. A year later he competed in the first men’s national championship in the K-4 1,000 metres, which were held in Pallanza, winning the title along with Ernesto Tasco, Benito Epifani, and Pietro Lapertosa. At the 1962 Italian championships in Castelgandolfo Rucco and Cantarello were victorious in the K-2 10,000 metres.
