Márton Joób had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 2003 C4 1000 m (with Imre Pulai, Ferenc Novák, and the non-Olympian Csaba Hüttner), 1st 2007 C4 200 m (with the non-Olympians Gábor Horváth, Péter Balázs, and Pál Sarudi), 1st 2007 C4 500 m (with the non-Olympians Péter Balázs, Gábor Horváth, and Pál Sarudi), 3rd 2003 C4 500 m (with Ferenc Novák and the non-Olympians Gábor Fürdök and Csaba Hüttner), 3rd 2006 C4 200 m (with the non-Olympians Pál Sarudi, Gábor Horváth, and Péter Balázs).
