Biography

Gino Pancino was an Italian track cyclist who won a bronze medal in the 1968 Olympic team pursuit. In 1966 Pancino won a world title in team pursuit, and he was second in that event with the Italian team at the 1967 World Championships. In 1969 Pancino won the Italian title in the team time trial, and also won the Italian team pursuit championship. He also won eight other races that year and competed at the 1969 World Championships. Pancino never turned professional but was eventually awarded a Gold Medal by the Italian Olympic Committee for his athletic achievements.
