Biography

Capt. Isaac Kitts placed sixth in the individual dressage event at the 1932 Olympics and was the second scoring member of the team which won the bronze medals. He competed again at the 1936 Olympics and finished 25th in the individual event as the U.S. placed ninth and last in the team competition. In both Olympic appearances he rode the mare American Lady. A veteran of both World Wars, Kitts later was the director of horsemanship school at Culver Military Academy.
