Biography

Bernhard Britz was a multiple Swedish Champion, individually in the road race and road time trial in 1930 and 1933, and he won another six national titles with the team. He was also Nordic Champion in the individual road time trial in 1933 and with the team in 1930 and 1933. His best World Championships placement was fourth in 1931. Britz won Sweden’s most important race “Runt Mälaren” in 1933. In 1935, he was fatally injured in a bike race when he collided with a truck.
