Biography

In 1917 Dutch cyclist Nico de Jong finished fifth in the road race at the national championships, before finishing 15th at the 1920 edition. These results earned De Jong a place on the Olympic team for the 1920 Antwerpen Games, where he came 25th in the road race. His individual result helped the Netherlands to also finish sixth in the combined team event.
