Belgian cyclist Roland De Neve had a brief career during the mid-1960s, competing at several high-profile international competitions. In 1964 De Neve won bronze in the 100 kilometres team time trial at the UCI Road World Championships in France. This performance earned him a place on the Belgian team for the Olympics, which took place a month later in Tokyo. At the Games he finished 13th in the team time trial on the road, in addition to competing in the 4,000 metres team pursuit in the velodrome. De Neve then turned professional but retired from the sport just one year later.
