Ernst Denifl was an Austrian mountain biker participating in the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. He placed 28th in the cross-country event. In 1994, he finished fifth at the European Championships. His son Stefan rode at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics in the road race but did not finish.
