Biography

Norwegian competitive cyclist Leif Flengsrud represented Hamar IL in the late 1940s. Flengsrud competed in the road race at the 1948 London Olympics but did not finish the course. A few weeks after the Olympics he also participated at the UCI Road World Championships in Valkenburg, Netherlands. Both his father and brother were also cyclists, with Leif going on to work in his father’s bike shop.
