Biography

Günther Kriz was an Austrian cyclist who participated in the 1960 Rome Olympics. He was a member of the track pursuit team over 4,000 metres that was eliminated in the preliminaries. He also rode the 1,000 metres track time trial and finished 20th. Kriz won several Austrian national titles: 1957-60 team pursuit over 4,000 metres, 1959 and 1961 individual pursuit, and 1960 1,000 metres time trial. He also rode several stage races on the road, like the Austria Tour.
